Supercharger Systems are special order items and are not returnable without written consent from Top Spec Motorsports. It is your responsibility as the purchaser to understand the product’s terms and conditions before completing your purchase.
After installation, you may need to perform troubleshooting or diagnostics. Components and sensors near the end of their wear tolerance may require replacement. Top Spec Motorsports and VF Engineering are not responsible for troubleshooting, diagnostic costs, or any consequential expenses. Preserving the original BMW quality, smoothness, and reliability stands as the cornerstone of VF Engineering's design philosophy. This commitment is exemplified through the meticulous development of VF software, which integrates the dependability of Vortech superchargers and VF's custom software expertise garnered over 15 years of supercharging experience and access to worldwide OEM supply sources, culminating in the creation of the ultimate supercharger system for discerning drivers. All crucial components are crafted entirely in California, undergoing rigorous testing on both the Mustang MD500AWD and in-house Dynojet 224XLC dynamometers, ensuring optimal performance under various conditions. Set at 6 psi, these kits deliver power comparable to, if not surpassing, similar products running at higher boost levels. Over a 12-month period, VF engineers dedicated extensive time to software testing the BMW Bosch ECUs, refining the smoothness and functionality of the supercharged vehicle. Leveraging cutting-edge software flash technology and the latest BMW file versions, VF ensures a seamless and reliable method of software installation, even offering an optional DIY programming cable and email-able software for added convenience. The Vortech supercharger is securely mounted using a CNC machined T3 anodized aluminum 6061-T6 bracket system, positioned in line with a bolt-on crank pulley and additional active OEM tensioner using a dedicated serpentine belt. The active belt tensioner ensures reliability by eliminating belt slip, while custom-molded polypropylene plastic supercharger air ducts maintain an OEM appearance, quality, and function. The integrated Bosch boost overrun system ensures smooth off-throttle cruising and deceleration, and the crankcase ventilation system effectively manages positive pressure. To accommodate varying climate conditions, a removable plastic air box with a K&N induction filter is included. The VF supercharger system remains fully OBD2 compliant and is supported by a one-year unlimited mileage warranty on the product. Installation typically takes 8-10 hours and is non-intrusive, allowing for full reversibility. VF-Engineering supercharger kits are turn-key ready for installation, requiring no additional work or components. Both hardware and software are fully reversible, facilitating easy access for engine maintenance. The linear power delivery is well-suited for both automatic and manual transmissions, remaining within conservative tolerances for an exceptional driving experience.

Returns
HEX Tuning software has a 30 day return policy starting from the day HEX Flash Cable carrier tracking confirms delivery to your shipping address.
To start a software return, email support@topspecmotorsports.com, please include your VIN number and invoice number. A HEX Tuning representative must be able to verify that the vehicles ECU has been flashed back to stock which may require remote access by one of our technicians. Once the ECU has been flashed back to stock, the customer is responsible for return shipping of the HEX Flash device. After the HEX Flash device has been received, the refund will be processed within 24 – 72 hours.
All returns must be authorized and accompanied by a Return Authorization (RA) number, freight prepaid. No COD Freight Collect Returns will be accepted. All returned goods (not supercharger systems) will be subject to a restocking fee of 25%.
Supercharger systems, discontinued, damaged, and special order items are not refundable. All returned products (not supercharger systems) must be in “like new” condition. Credit will be issued after inspection by VF-Engineering. Please make the return within 15 days of receipt of a Return Authorization number and enclose a copy of the original invoice and a brief explanation of the reason for return.
